-Let me see those words Esteban. If Aggy was right, this mirror will be able to translate the letters...   said Tommy while he started walking. His mirror would be useful from the very begining... that was surprising, but made Tommy feel happy

You bent down and looked down to the statue base, where Esteban'd moved away the grass. You could see it was engraved something like a message, but the time had almost erase it.

Tommy got closer the mirror to the statue. In the beginning, the image on the mirror was the same but, as a stone were throught into a lake, the mirror surface began to curl more and more, like the weves of the hit of the stone on the water. After a moment, the surface became as it was, showing the imagen with this text:

"I am Hu'tla, king of the Mirmilas. The one who was betraid by his ministers and condemned in this doomed way. Now, the one who once ago rule the kingdom, lies as a volcano stone statue, a soul unable to see the sea again.

You, unfortunated traveler, give me back my sight to see again the sea and to be admired for all my people as centuries ago".

Uh...scrached the back of his head Esteban almost dropping his hat a little confused.

Ok, ¿is there any statue who is Not looking at the sea? Esteban moved from his spot glaring at the statues and sitting on the grass started to wonder how could a group of childs moved such gigantic stone..well magic is everyewhere so sure..perhaps one of the others had an idea of what could be done...

After witnessing what the other children did, he stood still and began to think...

How are we going to do to let this statue see again...? - he thought.

I know! - he said. Then he looked at Nicholas, and said to him:

Nicholas! You have to use the the two badges that Aggy gave you! He said that "they could give you the gift of sight." Maybe that's what we must do here!

Meanwhile, Nick is trying to climb to the shiny top of the statue, what seemed a bit more difficult because he was carrying the backpack and the badges with him. Thinking for himself - this would be much easier if those children help - but not wanting to ask for help, stubborn as he is.

When he heard Bruce calling him, he felt a flush of anger and tried harder to climb to the top.

- Name's Nick! - he shouted - you'd better remember that when I go down back or you'll know what's a... - gasping for the effort of climbing and not sure about how to menace the other kid but with a punch, Nicholas chose to keep his breath.

I was trying to see what I could help with when that brat started screaming like a weirdo. Everybody else was trying to help and he stood in that bad and angry attittude. That couldn't be good! -What's wrong with you...?- Murmured weakly, more to myself than to the others. I looked at those strange letters... Were those letters at all? I couldn't understand anything, but it seemed the mirror was useful. So those things that strange guy gave us a few ago were magic things, right? I was wondering why he gave me what he gave me. Did he know what we were going to need?

"Please, be carefull" said Abigail to Nick while he was climbing the king's statue.

She stopped to search the cat (she couldn't find it) and she looked terrified to Nick.

Nick climbed to the top, after that he stopped to breathe several times beacuse the statue was so tall. When he arrived, he put on the breeches on the plalce where he imagine they must be.

And, suddenly, the floor began to move, as in a earthquake, menwhile the statue's mouth started opening. Slowly, the mouth grewn and became as tall as a child. Inside it there was only darkness.

Woa...Ey nice work Nick smiled Estaban looking in amazement how the mouth of the statue has just opened revealing nothing but darkness...

Ok..What was Aggy words?, the light to maintain the darkness away..but in anycase...

Esteban take his pendant in his left hand and using it like somekind of torch he moves to the open mounth, very carefully tried to iluminate the inside of the place, admiting that he was a little scared of all this, not all days one confronts a darkness that reminds him very much of the monster under the bed and all kind of scary stories he was reading.

Hell! - Nick yelled terrorised when the statue started to move. Hoping the king statue had a hairy top to have something to grab to. When the move ended - he looked down to the other children staring inside the mouth.

Wait for me! I'm going down - then Nick started to climb it down slowly, still afraid and completely forgotten the fact that he was called "Nicholas".

Could anything be seen from the top of the statue? A new path, a boat near the coast or even the lost cat?

We all can guess that from the top of the king Nicholas could have an incomparable view around. Even he should have felt something in his little hard heart. Pity trembling started so soon and he had to think about how not to fall down.

-Esteban, wait! Is that pendant working? I don't want to go in there if it is so dark...

Tommy had seen how the mirror translated the message before, but he wasn't sure about the rest of the objects...

Esteban went close to the mouth. The pendant was shining, but all of you were able to see only a full moon, white and brilliant; and something that all of you thought it would be a Chinese house's roof.

Uh..that was unexpected..scratched the back of his head Estaban; this time being cautious of not throwing his hat; he was pretty much surprised, Aggy did say something about this and the shadows but perhaps another one of the kid would have the item needed, this was as cool as any rpg.

¿Anybody any ideas?, Im a little lost now...confessed Esteban with a shrug.

Wow. It looked like if it was a videogame. Maybe we were inside one? That would have been awesome.

"Does that look like a house? Shall we get closer to it? Or we'd better avoid the darkness?" I asked. It seemed like the labyrinth wanted to take us that way, but maybe there was something else in the island.

Finally Nick reached the ground again and saw everyone looking into the mouth.

Hum, perhaps the girl - pointing to Beatrice - could call the moon into the whirpool the old man gave her, wasn't it supposed to do that?

And you can pull me up to retrieve "the eyes"...

-What are you talking about? What would I need a moon? I could call the eyes, I think.- I didn't really like that guy. A moon... Father told me that planets with moons, need those moons in order to keep balance. Why would I do that? -By he way, I've got a name. And It's Beatrice. Better keep the name in that empty head of yours.- Replied, angry. I had had a bad day so far, and I didn't feel like following the orders of a brat. -Damn.- Said, looking at the others. I shook my head lightly and decided to shut my mouth for a bit. Why would they need that moon, after all?

Take it easy, everyone. We're arguing over nothing! We'd better go through that mouth and into that Chinese-like building... We may found someone there who can help us! - and I look at everyone.

What do you say?
