You arrived at a little Japanese garden. You could see the paper walls, stone torchs, bushes and a small lake where a few fish were swiming. The garden were sorrounded by a house with the tipical curve roof, as a yard. All was dark, the only light came from a few glow worms that were flying in a corner and the full moon, which were in the sky like a ghost.

Beyond the wooden tatami and the papar walls, a lot of human-shaped shadows were going here and there.

There wasn't any sound.

Nick shoved Henry before going into. He couldn't bear he was the last going out the statues praerie because someone could call him "coward".

He didn't like this garden. Well, he did like no garden at all: flowers, trees, butterflies and all this cheesy things made him fell seasick. For that reason he went to the corner where the little bugs were flying and he tried to hit them.

While I was following Tommy I felt something on my back that almost made me fall to the ground. I realised Nicholas had shoved me. I didn't want to argue, so I told myself he didn't do it on purpose and continued walking. "We aren't going to get on..." i thought.

We reached some sort of garden. It was dark, so we couldn't see very much, but there were some shining insects flying around, and the full moon helped too. There was a japanese house, and through the walls we could see some shadows moving. "May these be the evil shadows?" i whispered. The complete calm of the place made everything very strange.

Quiet and peacefull...I like it a lot..smiled Esteban walking to the little pond of the garden and taking a look to the fish inside of it; in a corner of his mind Esteban reminded something about zen gardens and things like that, in samurais movies appeared a lot and they were kind of cool.

Err...Could be..shrugged Esteban smiling to Henry I still have no idea how that shadows are supposed to be so..your guees is as good as mine...

Fish were amazing beings, and I like them very much, so my first thought was: Let's look at them closely!"

So, whether anyone came with me or not, I went straight to the lake and looked at the fish. When I was staring at them, I couldn't help saying: Wow... Amazing. I love them! - as I hoped someone would listen to me and come see the fish along.

Tommy followed Bruce to the lake to look at the fish. He didn't like them very much, but the lake was a beautiful place to be. He used to go to a lake on holidays with his family, and being in that lake reminded him of his mother...

I looked at my partners and smiled lightly. Then, when we were inside the garden I went to investigate the tatami and the paper walls. First of all I approached to the tatami and searched for something that could help us with our quest. I was lost and didn't know what to search for or what to do with the tatami, and a bit later went to check the paper walls. I rubbed them with my right bare palm, making a semi-circle, rainbow looking movement with my entire arm. The paper walls were strange, and I wanted to examine them closely. I approached a bit more, pressing my palm agains those paper walls. What was wrong with them?

The water lake was as transparent as the purest crystal, where red and white fishes were swimming, ignoring all that were out of the water.

You looked at the animals and the stones on the bottom, where many pieces of china were laying between the stones. Someone might have thrown them to the lake, you thought, but you didn't know why. But, when you were about to stop to watch the fishes, you saw four little whole china bowls on the bottom.

Beatrice went close to the paper walls while the dark human shadows were running and moving behind the white paper.

She touched the wall with his palm, but nothing happened. The girl come back to the garden, although she didn't realise the wall that she touched a few seconds before had opened.

The air began to smell like mud, and a human black shape went out the dark that filled the space beyond the paper. It had slender arms and a thin body which shone like black rubber and which movements were making a sound like a foot stuck in the mud. From it heavy and thick drops fell down on the tamati meanwhile its long and rotten arms were growing and growing, closer and closer from Beatrice. It had no face and no eyes.

When she realised what was hapenning, she couldn't do anything. The shape took her and, as quick as a flash, it come back to the inside of the hause. The wall closed and the silence returned.

She couldn't scream.

"Her... bag has fallen down. I think one... well... one of us should take the vase the mage gave her."

She couldn't say anymore because she had realise: this wasn't a game, it was going to be dangerous.

I was going to watch the stone torches, but then saw what happened to Beatrice and realised I had been standing in the same place for quite a long time, without even blinking. Now I knew I was right, those were the shadows. My legs started to shake and fear invaded me, but I tried to take control of myself.
-Yes... We... We should take the vase...- I said.

Nicholas first impulse was to stand up run to the walk and kick it repeatedly until it brokes. When he had just jumped up, the fear took anger's place and he stood up, waiting for the other children to react.

After a while, nobody had moved so Nick, holding his hand full of light worms in front of him (as if they could shield him), approached the place where Beatrice was touching the wall.

Tommy sank his hands, trying to take the shine bowls. The water was cold, but he picked up them.

While, Nick was trying to take some glow worms, although they were very fast, drawing loops and zigzaging in the air. They were hardly imposibble to capture.

Definitely Estebas was going to be as far as any dark zone they encounter on their way as possible; with that in mind Esteba went to the most iluminated zone of the strange and oriental touched garden; being it the torches that lighten the place.

Esteban was still a bit shacken by the apparition of the shadow and what has happened in front of his eyes but as soon as they finish this as soon they will be save from the dark things...

Nobody was moving to take the vase, so I breathed deeply and slowly approached the vase, looking everywhere just in case the shadows attacked again. My heart was beating like it had never done, and when I held the vase in my hands I felt uncomfortably. What happened to Beatrice could happen to me.

The torchs were four, made in a polished black stone in a classic oriental way. All of them were off.

You stared them and, them, you were able to see some symbols drew on the stone, one for each one.
