Esteban lighted the tunnel whyle Abigail picked up the robe and Nick got closer, still unconvinced about the lion. All the kids bent down in order to go through the dark tunnel, although they could be stand up when they arrived at the stair.

The stair was long and dark and seemed to be infinite, but you arrived at a huge room, tall and completely empty, except for a lot of columns which raised up to the infinity: the dark filled all the ceiling, if there was one.

And, after a long walk, you saw it: a big statue, a statue of a beautiful woman, white and golden, with a key on her hands.

Do you think that there is a roof? I can't see it but the columns wouldn' be there for no reason, right? Tommy couldn´t imagine a room without roof, it just didn' make any sense.

We should take the key, don't you think? Looks like the only option... He said this outloud becuase he didin't want to do it. He expected that other children made his move first...

Abigail looked at the statue. She thought it was pretty nice, as ancient ladys may have been.

"Nick could climb. The key it isn't soo tall, is it?" She said, thinking of princess and old kingdoms.

She saw the columns, the endless columns.

"It was true", she said, "that they were weird without a roof. Or maybe the light of the Esteban's crystal didn't arrive at the top of the room"

Er...could be shrugged Esteban putting the amulet back into his shirt and wander a little trought the room, looking if the columns could be moved or had any kind of markings who could give them a clue about what to do inside the room.

Until now all has been riddles and tests, so this didnt look different, the real problem was discover what to do; once again if it wasnt for the impeding doom of the shadows Esteban will be enjoying this greatly...

the key isn't so/too high, is it?

al usar question tags, el afirmativo pasa a negativo pero tb viceversa. Por tanto como la frase está en negativo isn't, el cuestion tag pasa a positivo, is it?

-I dont think it's a good idea to cut her legs... Is it?- I asked. It may seem like a crazy idea but at least we wouldn't put anyone's life in danger. A few moments later, after thinking a little bit, i suggested another thing- Or... If someone with a good ability tries to get the key with a rope or something...

-We could just take it from her hands, don't you think? I can do the knots, but please do not make me go up there... said Tommy, who wanted to get the key without having to climb...

- Cowards! Once more it's Nick who saves the day, isn't it? - said Nicholas although he didn't looked like he was angry - I'll go up there. Prepare the rope and I'll climb up.

Cooperative while not too much despective. This kid is improving, isn't he?

Nick climbed quickly to the top of the dame. From there he could see the columns forest, huge and dark, and something like a wall far away. It was made of something like gold or silver, a metal that shone slightly in the distance.

Ey nick see something? shouted Esteban to the boy on the statue, he was the most physically gifted of them and he usually takes on his shoulders this kind of things, after all he has already said he was more than accustomed to this things of trekking, swiming and stuff like that.

There it goes! - cried Nick and threw the key down to the kids - he climbed down the statue and rejoined them - there's a door over there - he pointed - I guess - he doubted slightly - well something bright anyway, or made of metal, let us go and check it.

Ok, let's go. Nick had climbed and had seen something in the distance, so the kids were going to see what it is. -I hope it is a door, but maybe we will need the key that the statue is holding. He didn't say this outloud, as it was too obvious and he didn't want too sound ridiculous

All of you walked to the wall Nick had pointted to. It got bigger as you were getting closer. Although it was shine and nice, it seemed to be old and run down: big stones lay on the floor, and the wall was full of ivy and bushes. Its inhabitants, if once there were any, had disapeared centuries ago. A war kicked up them? Maybe. Or a donwpuor, or a huge storm.

The wall was tall, enormous, with towers and small windows on the top, and a gate, only one: polish and white, made on luxury marble.

Henry approached and look at it: there was a picture to one side, engraved on the marble.

I approached the symbols in the wall. As I touched them with my fingertips in order to feel the relief, i asked the others if they had an idea of what they meant. I revised out loud the parts of the problem we had in front of us.
-Those seem like crowns... And that's definetly a key. Is it similar to the one you got before, Nick?

Ok, I´m oficcially lost here shrugged Esteban looking to the puzzle I will make a wild guess and say that the pilar are the kings and the key goes somewhere here pointed to the image on the wall...so...I will search for this kings on the pillars, see if any pillars had images of kings, crows or something along those lines...

Maybe we have to move the columns... though i don't think we are strong enough... It sounded better in his head, but he lost confidence when he said that outloud. He was also lost and couldn't think of an idea to solve the puzzle.

"I'll go with you, Esteban!" She said.

She was happier than in the other rooms beacuse of the crowns. She thought that the crowns were about beautiful queens and polite princesses, and golden palaces with blossom gardens. She was thinking about the last rooms, and she came to a conclussion that they were completely uncomfortable and she thought there would be a chambre with flowers, and puppies, and something nice.

"I hope we found out how to open the door quickly"

The kids began to find the crowns, as Esteban said a moment ago. You looked at every column, stared at every detail they could have, but you didn't find anything.

But, far away, beyond the darkness around the columns, something had moved. Or it seemed. A noise, a soft noise from another place of the chambre arrived at you. It looked like a huge body dragging on the floor, followed by a crackle, as someone was breaking wood. It wasn't a nice sound.

- Hum - said Nick to himself aloud - perhaps it's just a map - he said - No! - he cried suddenly - it's a code! I know it! he almost jumped happily around if he had not to protect his strong image among the others - I have done it before! at the school some nights! - suddenly he realized he had just said too much, so he just shut up suddenly and changed his face expression for a more serious one - just let me do it.

Nicholas grabbed the key and approached the door, he stood up on his toe-tips and put the key inside the keyhole, with both hands he turned the key counterclockwise two times, then three times to the right, then once to the left followed by one more turn to the right, at last, he turned the key with big effort to the left twice hoping to heard a click that would open the gigantic door.
