Mallory tried to catch her breath after the tough climb. Now, there was an opening in front of them. A sacred cave, or so it seemed. -You have never been here before, right?, she asked.

In the sense, Cozette had been here. She carried the knowledge of her ancestors. A heavy burden for such young shoulders. However, she was coping with it more than adequately. There were so many things different in this world. The young were the wise. Men obeyed women.

When Cozette had finished her prayer, Mallory smiled at her, and bowed her head to show respect to this extraordinary person, and then bent down to her knees. She had never been a religious person, but now she felt a wonderful communion between knowledge and religion. Instead of opposing forces one had to choose from, both were part of a sacred and complete form.

-I would love to learn from her, she thought. And then she remembered that Cozette's days were numbered. She would die young, unless things were to change quickly.

As soon as you touched the crystal you felt the dizzy sensation of being teleported elsewhere in the cave systems. You appeared in a corridor which ended in a huge cavern covered with lots of pictures and strange symbols pretty similar to what you can find in an Egyptian temple or tomb, they look like as they were showing some kind of story....

On the other side of the cavern a huge weird lizard-shapped alien was looking at you? He was over 2.5 meters tall and he was clearly stronger than you... he was looking at you as if you were his next meal... and he started to approach you

She stood up and smiles at you with an intense joy in her eyes "It is my first time... It fact, I wasn't sure that this cave existed until I have seen the first beacon... You know, sometimes myths and legends are just that and few time are real, I'm glad to check that this times seems to be real.....but I have bad news, I don't know what is coming next....  "

The cave was surprisingly wide and deep. It was damp but you were lucky that there wasn't any version of bats or similar vermin inside.

At the very bottom of the cave you could see one beacon enlighted with red light coming from a red cristal in the center of the hammer figure. On the other hand, a perfect white light circle was formed in front of the beacon.

There is no writings on the walls, signs of alien technology or other kinds of living presence. The cave is completely clean, without presence of dust or spider webs, and at the same time it was quite obvious that you had been the first visitors in a long time

Mallory was curious. -Where does the white light come from, she asked out loud. And before Cozette could reply, she had moved to get a closer look. The doctor knelt next to the white circle, without touching it. And observed.

Cozzette were more curious than you and entered into the circle.

As soon as she entered into the enlightened circle a red inocuous beam came from the beacon scanning her as the hammer had done previously with Keiran. After that, a solid figure was formed between the entrance of the cave and you and gave you a message

"Hail Dunain's gliics. I'm Daegda, lord of the Tuatha Dé Danann, you are walking a dangerous path towards knowledge and truth. If you are not wise enough it's not a shame, you will come here back when your people is ready. If you dare to go over the path enter the circle and invoke me"

I didn't like Jenkins urgency, or manners. But he was right. I touched the red crystal, expecting another teleport, somewhere else.

As I was the last there, it was my turn to touch the gem. I use my whole hand and touch the red gem expecting some kind of pull or something like when we crossed the stargate.

I pointed the weapong to the creature.

¡STOP! Who are you? Answer or I'll shoot you.

It was the first time I see an alien that looked like an alien. The huge man and the two girls were also aliens but they didn't looked like them. This was a real alien.

What the hell is that? I started to shake not knowing what to do. After a moment of hesitation, I decided to grab my handgun and point it to the giant creature. It would have been great to establish some other way of communication, but I didn't feel like having the time for that.

- Stop right there! Or I'll shoot!

I was not sure he would understand it. Not even if he would be scared at all by my threat. But my sworn protector wasn't there. Darn you, Smith!

Knowing for sure I would be the losing side on a shootout, I drop my gun and raise my hands.

- Ok, ok, I surrender. I surrender. Take me to your leader.

It seems that the creature was not going to shoot. If it wanted to do it, surely he had already done it.

What the hell are you? Do you understand me?

I have no idea in how can I communicate with an alien creature. Would it understand English? I'm sure he won't. We were into a dead road.  Neither me nor it will withdraw our weapon first but I took a more kindly position. I continued pointing it with the weapon, but not in a aggresive way. I put down it but with the finger ready to fire.

See. I.... take.....down.....my....weapon.

I made signs with my other hand hoping the creature do the same.

Mallory stepped into the circle. -Let's go for it. I have nothing to loose...

She was bewildered by the things she was experiencing, but on the other hand she was in a different planet. So she was somewhat prepared for the unexpected.

You felt immedately the shake of being teleported to other room. You didn't know but it seemed that Cozzette knew what was happening.

The new room was damp and dark but the light of your torches were enough to enlighten the whole room. You could see in the farthest wall from your location a writing in black letters that looked like obsidian.

On the opposite wall there were four geometrical shapes representing a circle, triangle, square and pentagon. The wall material seemed to be softer than the rest os the walls. The circle shapped had disappeared showing a red crystal. It seemed that someone has passed before you some time ago.
