Thanks for your effort designing Helena for me.
The character seems OK to me. I understood I have 80% to increase another skills.Please confirm me just two questions:
- I understood I have possibilities to increase one skill 80% or 2 40%+40% or three z.B. 30% 40% 10 % usw. Is any combination OK whenever using maximum amount 80%?
- May I use that points to increase more the pilot related skills (bold lettering) as well as the not related skills (standard lettering)? Or is the 80% destinated to any other skill excluding the pilot ones?

I think I understand this system because I am playing a Runequest play :)

As for my character, I do not want to be military. I would prefer to be civilian contracted. Is it OK for you?

Yes, that´s correct. 80% divided between any skills. Sure, Helena could be working for UN via a commercial company (guide or travel tours etc.) - or an humanitary aid organization.

I played RuneQuest in the 80´s. What differs between the systems is that while in RQ you risk catching a chaotic feature when fighting chaos monsters you in CoC risk going insane, or adopting phobias.

One thing I miss with RQ is the fumble table. I think I´ll import that for this session. I´ll see if I can add it to the rules section. It´s much more fun to accidently drop a weapon and hit a friend....than to just have a jammed gun! Yes, that´s a promise.

As for playing on other sites, I made a guest visit over at Storycrafter and had three characters in one game. One being a pilot...(Showing that evrything is not a military opertion)
