- Once we know we have everything we need... - said the halfling looking quizzically at the dwarf - whatever we don't have now, we will need to buy. - Smial showed the list to the others after scratching the last item.
Fire
Food
Rope
MapsMounts
Paper
Charcoal
Tools
Healing
- If anyone is missing some of the esentials should say it now, it appears that we will have to walk.
Off we go, then!
Caledni gets his backpack and looks at his new partners in adventure.
We are ready (unless someone wants to ask around about the dangers we might find in our way)
Ciathar is begining to grown bored so she cheers her companions
-so, what are we waiting for? lets go. To the adventure¡-
Smial got a folded paper from one of his many pockets. In it there could be read some facts about the road ahead, things that could be useful for those that were to travel to the Temple. - Here is what the locals told me about the road, it may not be much but is more than nothing. - he looked at his new companions and shooked his head - Too eager to jump to the fire - he mumbled to himself, but not so low as not to be heard.

I took the liberty of making a Diplomacy roll to see what information about the road Smial had gotten from the locals in the few days he were in town prior to the ceremony.
With your diplomacy check, you know:
The crypt is located roughly 40 miles south of Kassen,
meaning that the adventurers traveling on foot arrive at the end of the
following day. This area of the Fangwood is mostly
safe.
And, if I did not say it, sorry, but the major gave to you:
Per each character: a backpack that contains 5 days’ worth of rations, a small
tent, a winter blanket, a full waterskin.
To each one:
Smial: a grappling hook
Kharas: a labeled potion of cure light wounds
Ciathar: three torches, and a box containing tinder and three tinderwigs
Adisa: 50 feet of hempen rope
Caledni: a small bottle of local brandy
Listening Smial words Ciathar begins to laugh,a kindly joyous laughter
-you are too thoughtful, this is a great adventure, but also a ceremonial one. A lot of young adventurers do it each festival, so it won't be so hard after all-
She took the torches and the small box the townsfolf offered her and guard it in her backpack
-As I said, we should be moving to travel before the dusk-
-Im with you little girl- say Adisa checking that all was in order with his backpack -Its better that we start to move, so lets go- Putting his backpack in position, the man check his waist, belt, and al his weapons ready. Then just start walking waiting for his partnerss to follow him.
-Im sooo excited. I mean, i really like that this travel beggins. And ends in the best of his ways- say to nobody,. maybe to himself.
Hello bitches!
Here are Adisa, a renewed version. Less blacky, less exotic, but far more charismatic... ¡he carries a whipe at his side!
When all members of the party were ready, they started their path... Going to the south, their travel started without incident.
Behind them, the village was lonely and small. And, in front of them, the forest appeared as a fog...
Well, do you have any special formation or any action to take before we continue?
The young man look back to the village in the distance -Kassen! An excelent place to live... but i dont know for sure if is a good place to die.-
Well this is not war. And may be im wrong, but nobody says that this is a dangerous travel. So i think that we pace quitely.
In my case, Adisa is a natural leader, so he seek to be forward leading the march at a good pace.
Less talking more walking, fellas. We have a long way to do
And I start walking on the front of the company
The halfling picked up his stuff, double checked his pockets and started walking behind his partners. It took him a bit to get to a confortable pace but once his legs were on the move his mouth started moving also.
- I think we can comfortably talk and walk at the same time, it will be a long road, twice as long for me with these short legs. - he laughed at his own joke and then looked at the bard. - You should know better, nothing is fixed, this may be a ceremonial adventure, but that does not mean we should not prepare for a more dificult one.
The explorer took a pipe from one of his pockets, a pinch of tobacco from another, and prepared it to smoke but never lighted it. With the pipe in his mouth he kept talking from time to time, taking it out whe he did. - I'm a certified scholar from Magnimar, son of a renowned explorer which has recovered many artifacts for the university, and he taught me the trade. - he took a deep breath. - While we are outdoors I will agree to do as the more experienced of you say. But once we are inside the Crypt I will ask for you not to touch or move anything I have not examined first. These old places are ridden with traps... - he then looked at the girl - and while I agree that this is a place where many goes every year, and is very likely to be rid of deadly traps, I would like to be on the safe side of the knife. I promise I won't be as severe as ife we were on a thassilonian ruin, but from time to time I will warn, and I want to be heard. I won't be held responsible if you don't do it and you get hurt.
The exotic looking youth agreed with his fellows and enjoyed the walk. He tries to engage in talk with them and found every new view of the landscape as appealing as the previous one.
It is quite obvious he is enjoying everything.
When Smial offered his piece of advice on the underground part of the trip he bowed gently his head.
Don't worry, my friend. We'll do as you say. And if you need the power of the winds to inform me of the presence of magical auras, do not hesitate in asking me.
DM, I'm sorry I didn't tell you of my absence the previous week...
On thursday I'll be leaving until Sunday again.
-Take my word little man: I wiil not touch anything without your supervision.- Say the young man looking far away in the distcane -I dont want to get in trouble for not listen a partner's advice. But im less interested even in heard an "i told you" all the way back home.-
So we dont get a fix formation for the travel i guest.
The young bard listened the halfing nodding from time to time
-you are right, we have to remember that the crypt is empty for a full year, time enough to be occupied, ther can be beast of any kind, but deadly traps? I don't think so-
Ciathar laughted again cheerful
-but don't worry I will be sure you examine everything before I touch it, I'm not from a nice university but also know some tales about ruins- after her talk the bard touched a single note from her harp, still smiling
I don't think so Adisa
