I think that that is a good idea.
I was thinking that maybe a task for future months could be something related to dialogues (since that is something that is very important in tasks and tests in the "escuela oficial de idiomas"). Maybe we could write a short theater scene to practice the verbal forms used in oral debate and things like that, or practice a bit with a debate about something (like "is it better to make fresh spaghetti sauce or buy it in the supermarket?")
For the next month, I'd rather a recipe :DDDD I have a new recipe book, and I would like to share a recipe with you :DDD
And, I also agree with Faris, some task from oficial exams or something like that :D But, this... For the next month :P XDXD
New task posted. I keep your idea in mind for the next month Faris, thanks!
Uaaaa, Faris, I like the owl a lot *.* I'll try to make it :DDDD And the little glasses... Ains *.*
Really, I never made that one (although I have made other papercraft models), but it seems really easy. Your owl problably won't look exactly the same, because of diferences in the paper and printer (your paper won't be so glossy, probably), but I'm sure it will be very cute. Most people use "cola blanca*". I use pegamento imedio banda azul because I like being contrarian :P Superglue and "pegamento de barra*" don't work very well for most people.
If you like making that kind of things, this web has a lot of "nerdy" models
http://paperkraft.blogspot.com.es/
And Canon have some very cute models

*I don't know the name of the types of glue in English. ^^'
Uoowww, they are amazing *.* I like this stuff a lot *.* I would like trying to make it one day :D Thank You, Faris :DDDDD
Hello, guys :DDD I just keep the step by step task a few days more in the case there is someone who wants share something to us ^^
So, if you want to write something, it's up to you :DDD
The next week, you will have a new task ^^
Important advice
This days was very difficults for me, because the university, family, differents houses´s work and friends claim my time; maybe I need put me "OUT" in Umbria, unless I find solution with this problem.
Don't worry, variam :D Take your time, all what you need :D
Sorry I've been absent from the workshop as of late. But Mooneyes is keeping up the fort! I'm still busy, but I will write something for this months exercise today or tomorrow.
Don't worry, Tingwe :D Take your time, and enjoy your real life ^^
I hear you there brother.
I've been missing you all guys! But I'm so oocu (Out Of Comindad Umbria... ba dum tss...) that I have literally not a single active game ongoing atm.
Real LifeTM is kicking hard since I started my new job, and real state associated activities are kicking even harder lately (but the good news are that the so anticipated opening day for the Chateau Saecel is so nigh we can almost taste it)
Sigh
But anyhow, keep the good stuff coming and the spirits high!
See ya all soon!
Saecel, we miss you too :DDD I remember your future party about New York cops (I am looking forward to playing that party, to be honest *.*), but I understand your situation (mine is like yours, but studies, instead of working XD), so I don't have time either ^^ (although I'll find it if you decide to play that party, ehem XD).
Well, I hope your situation will be getting better, and you can enjoy as you want :D XDXDXDXD
About ideas for future tasks, what about describing a Playing Character: history, family and companions, clothes and looks, skills and job...it can have a lot of vocabulary that is important in official English tests and it is right up our (roleplaying) alley
I like it, Faris :DDD Maybe it could be difficult (for me, at least XDXDXD), but yeah, we are here to improve our English :DDD
Faris, I had read the book you recomended
https://www.comunidadumbria.com/mundo-friki/libros...
I read it in English. Thank you! It's very interesting. But, I read The Suffragette Scandal also and I liked it even more.
Thanks for the recomendation, I'm planning to read all the colection.

Maybe it could be split in several tasks, like writing the general description one month and the story the next, to make it easier.

Oh, yes, I got hooked and since them I have read two more series (shorter, this time) from the same author. I really enjoy her writing. From the Sinister Series my favourite are the 2nd and 3rd books. And the novelletes are good too. By the way, have you read her "Ask a Man" tumblr? I found the columns of Stephen Shaughnessy in the book hilarious, and she made several like that to promote the last novellete of the series, "Talk sweetly to me", where he is a main character.
Stephen Shaughnessy is a Certified Man who lives in England in 1882. He answers questions on tumblr through the strangest of black magics, which he does not choose to explain here.
He answers the questions that Men (with a capital M) are best at answering: the ones where everyone already knows the answer.
Hi, guys! :D
A new task is coming for April, so you still have time to do the last one, if you want to ^^
like writing the general description one month and the story the next
I liked so much this idea that I am thinking that it will be the next task :D
I think it's a great idea too. 1) Description, 2) background or history and maybe 3) Interview (like a mock interview for a newspaper, I´ll explain that better later).
But we have at least 2 next tasks outlined, thanks Faris!
Hello everyone, thank you so much for letting me be part of this :)
