Hurd Price

Hurd's face was pearled in sweat and he was having trouble standing straight, even though using the bottle as counterweight. He was wielding his brand-new Peacemaker and his glassy eyes were fixed on the window.

- It ain't the sh-shootin' that I'm paid for, mister. - he jabbered to Choctaw - But I can do that ash well... Yeah, you just watch...

He closed one eye to aim better, though he wasn't sure it was the right one. He fired anyway.

The cowboys fired their guns wildly, and broke a few windows before they improved their aim. Vernon was now on his horse, and started firing from horseback. He was laughing like a madman.

Even though they were all too drunk to be sure, eventually Choctaw and Hurd were able to blast away some glass bottles on a store window.

The Bronson men started clapping their hands and kept drinking on the street. The townsfolk were afraid to come out, and the marshal was not in town. However, one of the shops had caught fire!! The celebrating gunslingers did not notice it, but half dozen men came out with water buckets to stop the fire from spreading.

[Br] Vincent Bronson

-What the hell?!!!

Vincent Bronson had heard the first gunshots. He had not been too bothered. Just cowboy fun. Then more gunshots and yelling. He looked out, and saw the fire. He cursed. He didn´t like Bannock too much, but now he would have to pay damages. Maybe.

The cattle baron walked out to the street and looked for Harvey. The foreman had left the brothel when he heard people screaming fire. Now he was putting on his jacket, sweaty and smiling silly. But when he saw the look on the boss´ face, he sobered up almost immediately. -Enough, Bronson said.

-Get 'em out of here, Harv. Sober up and mount. We're ridin' back to Sabbath now!

He tries to get off the ground, but falls, twice. And he starts laughing

Hurd Price

Hurd was as focused on the shooting as only a drunk man can be. He emptied his revolver's cylinder, then kept pulling the trigger. When he noticed nothing was coming out, he looked at the barrel frowning, then aimed at another window and fired again... just when a big flame burst out of the window. His eyebrows jumped and he turned to the two gunmen, laughing.

- Woah! Betcha can't do that!

He then saw Steinbaugh and the others moving and shouting, and he run instinctively after them to get his horse, still laughing.

Harvey grabbed a bucket of water from one of the locals heading towards the fire. He was about to through the water at Choctaw who was sitting on the ground. Maybe the foreman wanted to show the cocky gunslinger his place…

But Jack got there first and helped the former outlaw up and the two pals went to get their horses. Vernon Adams was mounted. Marc Corman was at the receiving end of the water bucket, and Harvey ordered him to go and get Sinta from the hotel. She was already coming out and joined the rest on horseback.

It was time to ride out of Bannock!

Their heads were still spinning, but riding horseback was routine to them, and the cool air helped them to sober up. They were aware they would have a hangover to remember the next day, and also they would not remember too many details of what had happened in Bannock. But they all had a feeling it had been a fun night. Kind of.
