BANG! Mayer shoots his Frontier Six-Shooter and hits Tom in the chest. The bullet goes through his clothing and opens a nasty wound. The apprentice suddenly realizes his life was in danger, and looks around for cover, holding his chest with his left hand. The closest he has for cover was the wagon, so he stumbles that way, turning his back to Mayer and Jack.
Immediately after, Choctaw fired his shooting iron at the old man Winford and gets his aim right. The bullet hits him from the side to the chest, causing some damage to muscles.
Winford yells in pain, and also ducks for cover. But there is nowhere to hide. And the shots keep coming.
Jack fires at Tom after taking a deep breath. He would not miss again...
Tom is still some feet away from the wagon, and there is very little cover around him. Then another shot is fired! This time it´s Ed firing at the young Johny from point blank range... With Johny´s gun! The bullet hits his forehead, but he leans back and lives... at least for a moment longer.
-Leave no survivors, pals!, Ed shouts and cocks the gun again.

Roll 11+8=19
Direction 1d4 => 1; 1d12 = 6; Damage => 1+1=2. Tom flinches again, really panicking now.
Ed&Johny: Ed shoots on Count 73, no aiming but minimum range.+8 range, +6 Accuracy, -2 for unfamiliarity with the weapon. He hits Johny in the head. 2HP. And the youngster flinches (fails by 1).
Winford: He was ready to shoot on Count 70 at Ed, but got hit by Choctaw on 66 and flinched (8), so 74 he can start acting again.
Tom: is moving closer (10), and on Count 80 he would fire his Derrringer, but he gets hit on Count 60 and has +10 count penalty and looks for cover. And another +2 Counts due to Jack shot on Count 73. So the next he would act is around Count 76. Total HP lost 3+2=5 HP (total 22), 1 speed, -1 accuracy.
Johny: total lost HP 6 (of 24), 3 speed -2 Accuracy. Count 73+1+3=Count 76 he can act again.

«We have to kill them, at any cost, so you have to keep shooting, "Jack", you are bound to it. How the hell did I get into this?»
Jack continued his cadence of aimed rifle shots, as he had been taught in the army: efficient and a bit slow, but sure, to ensure every shot, to make every shot count...
I aim to the chest again, still crouched, taking the time necessary to aim accurately.
- Jeeeha!!
Choctaw continues smiling and approaches the old man, after he aims carefully to his heart, ready to shot.
Ed laughs like a madman and fires again at Johny, hitting him on the left side of his face. Blood was pouring down his face, but the youngster stood firm this time, and jumped towards Ed to fight for his life!
Mayer calmly cocks and fires again at Tom, hitting the precise mark. The old apprentice falls down next to the wagon, and drops everything. The bullet lodged somewhere in his chest, and a crack tells a story of a broken bone and probably internal bleeding. His right arm gets tangled with the wagon cover ropes.

Jack was focused on what he was doing, to be a fast and efficient shooter. And it was coming out reasonably well. But that was not enough, it had to end as soon as possible, or they were at risk of being injured or even killed. That would leave more to share among those remaining, but it was not the idea he had in mind. Jack was one of those who preferred to celebrate something with his friends than lamenting his absence.
Despite the speed and that he had barely had time to properly aim, the shot hit the target: Winford's heart. That would have been lethal if he didn't used to carry things precisely that height. A habit that could have saved Winford's life.
