Updated the scenes. Mayer, sorry for the delay, the other scenes are taking a bit longer than expected but soon you will get some company I promise :)
By the way, it´s nice to see six players here :) I´m so excited I´ve decided to post in the main forum to see if we can find a seventh player for Hurd Price. Fingers crossed.
In any case, I´m more than happy with six players, just a shame to have Hurd as NPC if there is someone who wants to join the game.
I just keep watching new dead people every day at Boot Hill while living my new peaceful life as a gambler... What the hell are you doing guys? lol
Killing people, having fun, fucking, smoking, drinking..... I don't know,... normal life?
I have to give it to the outlaws… They are filling the holes in the cemetery very fast! This is looking more and more like “For a few dollars more” with an ever-increasing body count :)
And we have a new player!! Malken is joining us shortly hopefully... That makes it seven. The Magnificent Seven! Yeehaw!!
Hey there, folks! Seems I'll be the new Hurd. I'm new in town so please bear with me while I do some catching up :)
I´m back from holiday! A bit tired, but looking forward to getting back on the saddle.
Hi Malken, have you been able to catch up with the story?
Hey Tingwe, welcome back. Yes, I finished reading the Story Scenes and most of the rest. I noticed Hurd has been "absent" for the whole present scene, so I wasn't sure if you wanted me to post now or you're going to do some kind of recap of what he's been up to, and I follow from there, or what...
True, there has not been any action specifically with Hurd in the Cattle Drive scene so far. As he was just an NPC, I wanted to focus on Crowe and Sinta. I´ve just posted on the scene, and now that Crowe has left, Hurd has been reassigned to the flank where Sinta is so there is some chance for roleplaying between the two.
Scenes updated. Upon my return from holidays, I had more work than expected (it always happens...). Anyways, I expect to be able to keep up the posting as from now. Please let me know if you cannot.
Guns for Hire => Alacran, Crowe, Jack and Choctaw. This is meant to be a short scene to tie in the outlaws with the Bronsons.
Mayer => as soon as the above scene is finishes, other characters will start arriving in Sabbath
In the meantime, Sinta and Hurd are on the Cattle Drive.
Scenes updated (Guns for Hire and Mayer´s scene).
Cattle Drive I will update tomorrow.
Hi Sergut. Everything OK? Just you haven´t posted in a while.
Recently I´ve revisited some of the western films. Basically, I plan to watch the following:
Unforgiven (1992), Clint Eastwood
The Outlaw Josey Wales (1976), Clint Eastwood
Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid (1973), Sam Peckinpah
The Wild Bunch (1969), Sam Peckinpah
The Magnificent Seven (1960), John Sturges
Tombstone (1993), Pan Cosmatos
Not in any special order, these are probably the best "classic" western films I can think of (leaving aside the Spaghetti westerns which I also like but the style is different). I vaguely remember seeing all of the above, but it´s been a while. This weekend I watched Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid. It´s very close to being a classic, maybe a bit too sad and melancholic, especially with the Bod Dylan soundtrack and songs. But still highly recommended.
Any films you can recommend I should add to the list?
Damn you scare the shit out of me. You must have done some edditing on the first message or something and I saw "46 new messages" in the notification box lol
