Throwin' 'em.
Sorry for the delay again.
The negro looked at Dussaine's eyes. "You're a grande macho.... Let´s see what ya got!"
The stakes were high, and it was time to show the card after Mayer had thrown his chips to the stack that now had 22. Dussaine showed his card... The luck had not been on his side, and he had nothing but a high card (King of Clubs).
Mayer put a pair of fives on the table.
And it was turn for Stanton...
He had a Flush! Stanton had won a very important hand, and now he was in front.
NORTH: 4C-7C-5H-KC-9C (Dussaine) => a High Card
SOUTH: 5C-5S-QS-9H-KD (Mayer) => a pair of Fives
WEST: 2C-8C-6C-QC-JC (Stanton) => Flush
Updated the table on the other page, next round starts.

Dussaine was out, and things were not looking good for Mayer. The town mayor Bolden was dealing, and Mayer was the first to start betting.

Mayer looked at the cards he had been dealt...
QH-7C-2C-4D-8D
Not much to work with, and his stack was dangerously small, with a single chip to play with. He was to go first with the betting...
Please confirm if you wish to start betting. Remember, with the "all in"-rule, you can continue in play even if you run out of chips. But you can only win the part of the stack you participated in.
Also, to move things quicker, you can confirm if you wish to use gambling (roll in that case) and also what cards you wish to change when it´s time to change cards.
Arch looked at the cards:

Nothing special really
Mayer is the first to bet, to move things quicker, you can confirm if you wish to use gambling (roll in that case) and also what cards you wish to change when it´s time to change cards.
Queen of Clubs - King of Hearts - 4 of Hearts - 2 of Diamonds - 6 of Spades
I'm gonna fold. Got unlucky on the first hand, don't wanna take more stupid risks, and that hand sure is not helping.
OK, you can fold (you have to roll gambling to do that normally, but you get +40% for a bad hand and also you are running out of chips.
Please post a short post here with Arch marked so he knows, and you can use the folding action to check the paper Rosanna gave you (post & roll 1d100 in the High Stakes scene for that please).

I hope the two scenes are not too confusing, I wanted to keep the Poker mechanics separate from the main scene, in part because end of the day the result of the poker game is not that important to the story :)
Mayer passes and does not raise, and folds his cards. He is out...
Arch, your turn to open the betting.
-Easy money, the Mayor said smiling and lit a new cigar as he grabbed the small stack of three chips. He was one step closer to winning this table, even though he had been dealt three Aces. An incredibly good hand that had not given him that much in return.

It was Mayer´s turn to deal. He had only one chip left, so this was his last chance to stay in the game. Stanton started the betting...

Mayer checked the cards carefully. A pair of threes, and a King of Spades... That´s the hand faith had dealt him. In his pocket, a piece of paper. And on his mind, the worried look Rosanna had on her lovely face.
The stakes were high, and not only on the poker table.
KS-3S-3C-2S-4H
A new set of cards was dealt.

Three clubs, or a Jack and a Queen. Not much to go with, but at least a decent start.

No luck with gambling this time. Please confirm if you bet any chips now or pass.
Then you have the opportunity to change cards before the next round of betting
I'm all in, I guess. It's my last chip...
