Hi, how is the internship going? Since sergut (Sinta) is out, I have planned a short scene for you separately with Jason Bronson that ties with other PCs.
It's going great, and I think I'll have a little more time in a few days, so I will be able to come back soon. :D
I will be on holiday from April 3rd till April 13th, I might have access to the Internet a few days but most likely not. Let´s see if we can finish the open scenes before that!
How is it going? I will NPC you out from the "Cattle Drive"-scene to allow Hurd and Sinta to carry on, but please let me know about the "Guns for Hire!"-scene.
Hi! I'm freaking juggling with my internship and my studies at the university, but i'm doing fine, i guess. I'm just really freaking tired. But! It all ends on May 20th, then I'm all yours again. If you need me here before that, I can post once a week or so. Let me know, and thank you, really, for everything <3
OK thanks for the info. I´ll NPC Crowe in the background as he meets Choctaw, Alacran and other people. Sort of just standing there without saying much, but this way you can keep up with the story. At any time, if you feel like posting something please do.
One thing that could be interesting is the relationship between Choctaw Lee and Crowe. Basically, Crowe sees himself as a future gun hand, but his boss Mr. Bronson goes and hires Choctaw, an outlaw, to face the threat of the cattle thieves. Crowe could become friends with Choctaw and try to learn from the more experienced gunslinger, or he could feel jealous. Let´s see how things unfold, for now concentrate on your studies and internship and drop in whenever you feel like it :)
Thanks Tingwe :3
I think it depends on Choctaw's personality, since I see Crowe as a really cool guy as long as he doesn't has to deal with douchebags. If the guy is cool, so will he. If he is not, I guess Crowe won't be in the best of moods xD
Hi Sergut,
Hope everything is OK. You haven´t posted for a while, please let me know your availability as we are finishing the Cattle Drive scene and I will soon open new scenes.
Finishing the first act (of three). But the Act I has been 12 scenes altogether, and a few have been quite long (Cattle Drive and San Acoma for instance). I would say we´ve completed 60% of the game, especially if we add the learning curve for the new system and character creation.
I expect there to be another 10-12 scenes to go, but some are quite short. This can obviously change depending on the player character´s actions. But now that we have a good pace going, I´m sure Act II will go smoothly.
Active scene is "End of Act I", I will post for each character there to outline what has happened in the months before the arrival of the lawman and start of Act II (there is about 4-5 month lapse).
Shortly after I´ve done that, I will open new scenes for Act II. Please let me know in this scene if you are not available to post so I can adapt the scenes accordingly.
Nice! I'm loving this first act. It's been quite narrative for me, and I'm really thankful (If I've gotta be honest, I prefer role-playin' to rollin' dices like crazy). Quite different from any other game I've played until now, and I like it.
I just hope the second one to be as good as the first, master! :)
Edit: Er... Now that I think about it, maybe this wasn't the right place to post this. Maybe off-topic... Sorry, boss.
This time is a question, so I guess this is the right place to post this:
Should we post something in the End Of Act I scene, or is it just a transition scene a we should wait for the opening of Act II?
Yes. “End of Act I” is a transition scene BUT please feel free to post what your character has been up to in the past months, or what plans or projects he has, or even a short narrative of a typical routine day. Whatever you feel could add depth to your characters and to round up the back story.
Act I was all about getting to know each character, and I wanted to test the campaign-style game where each character has a profession path (which you might have then changed for another one). Much of the professional path has to be done/described in the “End of Act I” scene, since ACT II will take place in a very short period of time (only a few days). So most of the character development and background should be sorted out by the end of Act I.
Act II is well under way, thanks for keeping up the pace!
Scenes about to finish:
Scene 11: He Carried the Law
Scene 12: First Meeting at the Bronson Ranch
Scene 14: World Turn Beneath your Feet
And the scene with Trinity which is also moving forward nicely.
I´ve already opened a new scene for Hurd (scene 15), and there will be two more shortly as soon as the scenes 11, 12 and 14 are over.
Please inform here if you have holidays planned or if "out" for a period, so I can plan ahead. Thanks!
I may be 'out' some days from here to July 3rd. I'm busy with my final exams and may not be able to be here some days - but this is not a high pace game, so I don't think this will affect.
In any case, I'll let you know if I've gotta go for a longer period of time.
New scenes in progress/active:
Scene 16: Who´s Got the Edge
Scene 17: Business in Town
That covers Mayer, Hurd, Crowe, Dekker and Choctaw. Trinity is also on his way to Sabbath.
Sinta I´m not sure, so for now the character will stay in jail. Alacran is on standby to have some "screen time" shortly.
Rob, thanks for letting me know, no hurry post when you can.
Thanks, I'm feeling a lot better today. Also I noticed my last post got cut, I also wrote that I would update in a few days
I´m back :) Scenes going on:
Business in Town => Crowe, Hurd, Mayer
Predators => Choctaw, Jack
